Rachel Hamrick – Vet Assistant
Rachel is a lifelong animal lover. She spent most of her childhood riding and working at a top hunter/jumper barn in St. Louis, Missouri. She successfully competed on the Michigan State IHSA team for four years and graduated in 2020 with a Bachelors of Science in Microbiology. Rachel spent several years working with dogs, cats and laboratory animals before joining the Ascend team and getting back to her first passion, horses!
Hannah – Vet Assistant
Leigh grew up riding and showing hunter/jumpers in Charlotte, North Carolina. She graduated from NC State with a B.S. in Animal Science and a minor in Agricultural Business Management. She has done vet tech work with small and large animals. Leigh is passionate about animal medicine and loves being able to work with horses everyday.
