Ascend Equine is proud to offer endoscopy services for our patients.
An endoscope is a small, flexible tube that is able to be inserted into your horse’s body to help us diagnose and treat various issues (1.5m and 3.3m endoscopes available). The camera on the end allows us to get an internal view of your horse as well as take pictures and video to better monitor the horse’s condition.
Ascend Equine uses endoscopy to monitor a patient’s upper respiratory tract. Ascend Equine can look at the nasal cavity, pharynx, larynx, trachea, lungs, and much more. Ascend Equine also uses it commonly to investigate stomach issues such as ulcers and bots.
